Information we collect

Backgammon Online may collect account and profile information, messages, Moments posts, comments, likes, friend relationships, gameplay statistics, device information (including a device identifier, which we use to recognise your guest account so your progress survives a reinstall), crash data, and purchase records needed to operate the service.

How we use information

We use this information to provide authentication, matchmaking, chat, social features, gameplay, purchases, customer support, safety controls, moderation, fraud prevention, and service notifications.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by authentication, hosting, storage, notification, analytics, moderation, and payment providers that help operate the app.

User-generated content

Messages, Moments, comments, and profile information may be visible to other users according to the app's features. Users can report content and accounts. Reported Moments can be automatically hidden after receiving enough reports.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app or use the web account deletion form. An in-app deletion request has a 30-day reactivation period. Signing in during that period restores the account; after 30 days, the next sign-in permanently removes the old account data and creates a new account.
